The Lost Recipe Book

This quest sends you to Anelace for a book. The recorded chain involves accepting the request, buying the book, and returning to the original quest giver.

The walkthrough shows about 110 silver in total: 10 for the book and 100 for the completion step. Bring enough for both interactions, and read the live dialogue before confirming a payment.

1. Accept the request. Start at the quest giver near the starting settlement.
2. Find Anelace. Follow the lower path shown in the video.
3. Buy the book. Use the book dialogue and pay the requested amount.
4. Return to the quest giver. Complete the second conversation and payment.
5. Inspect the reward. Equip the weapon and review its effect before continuing your trip.

The footage presents an early weapon with regeneration. A recovery effect can be useful between fights, even when a later drop has a more appealing damage number.

Compare the weapon through a full trip: how often you heal, how comfortably you handle a group, and whether the special ability fits your class. A rarity label by itself does not answer those questions.

If you have the book but the quest has not ended, return to the original giver; buying it is only the middle step. If the conversation asks for more silver, review the second payment rather than searching the maze for a replacement book.

Lock the reward before selling other drops. Keep a useful recovery weapon until you have decided what replaces its role, not merely its base damage.
